What's Going On In Belgrade?

Belgrade is known as the city that never sleeps. It was featured in Lonely Planet's article the "Ultimate Party Cities" and National Geographic's the "Top 10 Nightlife Cities". Many other blogs such as La Carmina, Party With Locals and B Local travel were also placing Belgrade in the "fun city" context.

Resonate Festival

Belgrade is diverse when it comes to events, festivals and parties.

In April Belgrade hosts RESONATE FESTIVAL 2015 from the 13th to 18th. This is one very forward thinking and cutting edge festival when it comes to music, arts and technology. During the day attendance listen to lectures and workshops in the selected venues Kinoteka, Parobrod, Dom Omladine and Kolarac which are located in the city centre. During the night foreign and local artists are performing in most popular Belgrade clubs: the Tube, DOT and Drugstore.

Carefully curated LIVE music programme gathers more than twenty performers this year, with forward-thinking performers such as Ben Frost, Andy Stott, Simian Mobile Disco, Emika, Machinedrum, Inc.and Blixa Bargeld as well as sound artists such as Bob Ostertag, Lichens and Le Revelateur. Resonate always supports young and multitalented local artists. This year you will get a chance to hear a selection of Serbian electronic musicians including HETEM, Feloneezy or drummer Nemanja Acimovic.

Belgrade Dance Festival 2015

From 23rd of March to 9th of April Belgrade Dance Festival celebrates its 12th edition. Same as the Resonate it's happening at different venues, as following: Sava Centar, Opera House Madlenianum, Serbia National Theatre and Serbia Drama Theatre. The most of the venues are located in the city centre and Zemun historical neighbourhood. Find programme and the tickets at this official website.

If you find some of those festivals interesting, don't forget that City Break Apartments are located at the heart of Belgrade and near almost every mentioned venue. You will get comfort here, good value for money and you can share a flat with friends.
